Disability benefits

The Welfare Benefits section is staffed by our benefits advisor Tom Kenny, and two part-time volunteer form-fillers, James Coke and Wendy Russell. The section gives information, advice and support to disabled people living or working in Hammersmith and Fulham. We can provide help with:

• Social Security benefits.
• Tax Credits.
• Representation at Social Security Tribunals.

James Coke and Wendy Russell,our part-time volunteer form-fillers are available to help in completing Disability Living Allowance (DLA) and Attendance Allowance forms. 

 Referral procedure

If you need help in completing a new or a renewal Disability Living Allowance or Attendance Allowance form, please ring 020 74718515. That number is on voice-mail. Please leave your name and telephone number and we will ring you back within a few days to arrange an appointment. Please note that the 'phone (020 74718515)for this service is run by part-time volunteers who will check the 'phone for messages a few times a week. Due to the high demand for help with form filling, there is, on average, a wait of 3 weeks before you will be seen.
